This amazing Defender 90 is here on consignment from a local car enthusiast and restaurant chain owner. He never imagined selling his custom-built baby, but now that his ugly divorce is finalized he doesnt want any connection to his ex-wife as she was part of the build process making decisions. Hence this Land Rover is for sale.

The seller is a well-known distinguished restaurateur with many locations across Florida and North Carolina. His headquarters is here in Sarasota, FL. The car is here at our facility in Sarasota.

The seller is from Italy - came to the US many years ago to follow his dreams. This Defender 90 was custom built for him in his hometown in Sicily, Italy. The build took 31 months from start to finish, and you can imagine the amount of money spent.

What the car went through its build process is too long to list here...I would lose everyones attention - the list is 4 pages long. Therefore I will give a summary. We can email the PDF to anyone wanting to see the whole list.

Very broad summary;
- the car was completely disassembled
- frame cleaned, anti rust treated, painted
- body sandblasted, perfected, then painted with a super high quality process
- new weather stripping and seals
- all new lights inside out
- all small parts interior/exterior replaced with new or perfectly reconditioned

- new wire harness
- all new interior
- new brake system including lines, cylinder, rotors
- new suspension
- new premium sound system
- new exhaust system
- new door locks

The list goes on and on and one, but I think you get the idea that this car was intended to be a masterpiece from the very beginning.

The car was then imported into Florida through Port of Miami from Italy.

It has been maintained by a Land Rover specialty shop here in Sarasota.

Driving impressions and opinions:

 the car drives great - it truly drives like a newer Land Rover
 super comfortable interior
 Very attractive looks - great color combination, and the wood accents really work well (in my opinion).

Overall this is a one-of-a-kind Defender 90 that was built for a man who didnt care about the costs - he just built what he wanted. Selling the car never crossed his mind. Life changes.
